Good PDA for pharmacy student?
I'm entering my fourth year of pharmacy school and I'm in the market for a PDA that i will be able to use for medical info software. I'm looking for a combination of both decent price and functionality. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?
I would recommend the Palm TX. It is WiFi and Bluetooth capable, and there are lots of programs out there for it, including medical programs. Try Epocrates for prescription drug information (the base module is free, you can add other stuff for a price).
Before you buy a PDA, make sure that software you are interested in is available for that operating system (either Palm or Windows Mobile). No sense spending money on a device that won't run the software you bought it to run.
