Sync problem with Palm Handspring Visor?
For some reason I can not get deleted applications to install on my Palm. I gave him a hard reset and erased all data and did a HotSync. just got the installed files again. Is there some sort of backup file I do not know how to delete stuff keeping permanately?
Part of the HotSync endorses the contents of your device to your PC. If you are a hard reset, this is detected on the next HotSync, and all the saved files will be copied to the device. Just delete something thedevice should be enough to get rid of it because it will be removed from the backup folder on your PC the next time you HotSync. (You must ensure that your backup system or conduit in dialog 'Custom' the HostSync is set to "Handheld overwrites Desktop 'and not vice versa)
